Out of character

Recently I have been craving bagels - bagels toasted with butter. This in itself in not that unusual, other than that I have been craving blueberry bagels toasted with butter. *Blueberry* bagels toasted with butter. What's next - Cinnamon Raisin?

Sorry mum, guess I'm glad they made it on The Ark after all.

Available without a prescription

Secret now has a "prescription strength" deodorant for women. Do we really smell that bad? Between worrying about how shiny my skin is, white my teeth are, fresh my breath is, and, of course, the whole "feminine odor" issue - I'm exhausted. Now I'm supposed to be concerned that maybe my regular strength deodorant is not working well enough? I thought it was supposed to be strong enough for a man. Was that false advertising or has female sweat increased in strength? Are men and women now equal in their smell? Is this a feminist issue? Is this due to Affirmative Action? Is there now a quota for odor? How are people supposed to decide if they need regular, maximum, extreme, or prescription strength? I am qualified to make the decision to use a presription strength deodorant? I am only a nursing student. Maybe I should ask a med student - they know EVERYTHING!

10 reasons why I am likely to be trapped in a burning building

1) I first waited about 5 minutes to make sure it was a real fire alarm

2) After deciding it was a real, I had to bundle up because it is really, really cold

3) I then grabbed my passport, green card, and birth certificate from it's convienient location chosen for situations just like this

4) Due to the fact it seemed like a real fire alarm I thought about the fact I could actually loose all my stuff, and I really like my stuff - then I remembered I had renters insurance so I would be able to replace all my replaceable stuff

5) Despite knowing my stuff could be replaced, I decided I should take my computer because I wouldn't want to be without it while waiting for it to be replaced

6) If I had my computer, I really needed the power cord

7) I then decided I should also take my ipod because even though it is replaceable I put a lot of time and energy into getting it on ebay and didn't want to have to go through that again

8) If I had my ipod, I also needed the cable to charge it

9) After I had gathered everything and done a final hat, gloves, phone, keys, and wallet check - I was ready to leave

10) I then had to go back in because in the process of gathering all my electronic equipment I had forgotten my passport, green card, and birth certificate
